I May Not Say It Enough
I May Not Say It Enough - Original Watercolor Painting
Note: This painting is not for sale, as it holds a special place in my heart. It remains cherished in my personal collection, but I’m honored to share it with you here.
Artwork size approximately 8x10 (overall framed size is 14x17)
Believing until now
This heart had died
My dreams about us
You by my side
As I look at your face
Your eyes open wide
And our souls coalesce
Down deep inside
Just take my hand now
I will be your guide
Forever I’ll love you
You’re my joy and pride
And if I don’t say it enough
I’ll always try
This is an original watercolor of a single tea rose in a small green vase.
I initially planned on this being a simple watercolor of just a single subject, but it turned into something more complex. During the process of adding the shadow casting from the vase, I ran into issues with my paint. Being quickly out of options, I decided to extract the subject from the paper and attach it to a heavy piece of art paper. Oddly, this enhanced the appearance, and the vase and flower now stand out and take on a three-dimensional aspect.
The watercolor is mounted in a brown and copper frame, with UV-protected acrylic protecting the painting.
